National Integration Conference 國家隔合會議
Cantonese in Ireland was invited to attend the National Integration Conference on 25 September 2024 which took place at Gresham Hotel. The conference lasted from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and it was filled with insightful discussions, workshops and networking opportunities focused on migrant integration.
This year’s topic is Leaving No One Behind - Working towards effective Migrant Inclusion. The aim is to bring together policy-makers, community leaders, and social advocates to explore innovative strategies to ensure that no migrant is excluded.
As always, Cantonese in Ireland represented a linguistic and cultural minority at this event. Our representatives played a part in the great diversity of the event.
粵語愛爾蘭於9月25號2024年被邀請出席由愛爾蘭政府舉辦嘅國家融合會議。呢個大會喺 Gresham Hotel 舉行，朝早8點半開始，黃昏5點半完結。大會期間，大家一齊進行有意義嘅討論，仲有有用嘅工作坊，係一同愛爾蘭各團體建立關係嘅機會。會議焦點放喺移民融入社會方面。
今年嘅主題係「Leaving No One Behind - Working towards effective Migrant Inclusion」。目的係聯同政治決策者、社會領袖同埋各方支持者一齊探索創新策略，確保所有移民都可以融入社會。
粵語愛爾蘭喺呢個大會代表一個語言同埋文化小眾。我哋嘅代表亦都出一分力，為大會增添從粵人士考量嘅角度。
