Cantonese Storytelling on Saturdays

Last Saturday 9 May, we had such a lovely time at Mitchelstown Library Cork County Council Library & Arts Service✨

The families enjoyed listening to the story about Han Gan, making paper horses, and learning how to write the traditional Han character 「馬」(horse). One of the paper horses even had super long legs and gave everyone a good laugh 🐴😂

Hopefully after the workshop, everyone will remember how to say “horse” in Cantonese (ma) and how to write it too!

上星期六，我哋喺 Mitchelstown Library 度過咗一個愉快嘅早晨 ✨

一家大細聽完故事之後，齊齊整紙馬，又學寫「馬」字 🐴

其中一隻紙馬仲有超長嘅長腿，大家望住都忍唔住笑晒 😂

希望經過今次嘅活動，大家會記得粵文漢字「馬」點寫，同埋會知道粵語「馬」嘅發音啦！
