Cantonese Stories on Saturdays 週六廣東話故事時間

A FREE 40-min Cantonese story telling for children.

Heritage and curious learners of Cantonese are welcome, especially those aged 5-9.

Stories will be told in Cantonese, briefly in English whenever necessary.

After the story, participants are invited to do some simple Traditional Chinese writing, singing or Arts and Crafts.

Event occurs every other Saturday.

For children protection and better communication with participants, all participants are required to turn on the camera mode.

Siblings who share one login need one ticket only.

Please do tell though if there will be more than one child logging in using the same account, so we can prepare better. THANK YOU.

About the presenter:

Peg Chiu is an experienced school teacher from Hong Kong. She lives in the rural in Cork with her family, a cat and 3 hens. She likes working with children and gets inspired by them. She also likes reading children's books and she enjoys creating silly stories with her daughter.

免費廣東話故事時間今個星期六又同大家見面。歡迎各位有興趣嘅朋友一齊參加。活動主要會以廣東話進行，輔以簡單英語講解。

除咗聽故仔，我哋仲會一齊寫吓字、聽吓歌仔或者做吓手工。

活動隔週六網上舉行，十一點到十一點四十分。

為保障兒童及增加大家嘅參與，參加者需要使用視像模式。

講故事者:

Peg Chiu係一位經驗豐富嘅兒童教師。佢喺香港出世，喺香港長大。宜家同佢屋企人、一隻貓、三隻雞住喺愛爾蘭Cork嘅鄉郊。佢好鐘意同小朋友一齊玩，佢話其實小朋友亦都係佢嘅老師。佢好鐘意睇兒童故事書，亦都好鐘意同佢個女一齊創作一啲無聊故事。
