Cantonese Storytelling on Saturdays: Ladder to the Moon

Yesterday at Cork City Library, we celebrated love, creativity, and language through a bilingual story session in Cantonese and English. Just in time for Mother’s Day in Hong Kong, we shared the touching tale of a little boy determined to reach the moon for his mother — a beautiful reminder of a child's love and devotion.

Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Ladder to the Moon”, the children created their own artwork using paint, tape, straws, and pipe cleaners.

琴日適逢香港母親節週未，我哋喺高基市圖書館嘅粵英雙語故事活動一齊分享「世界上最好的禮物」呢個關於親子情及人情嘅故事。

之後，小朋友以Georgia O’Keeffe嘅名畫《Ladder to the Moon》作靈感，用顏料、膠紙、飲管同毛毛條，創作出自己嘅藝術作品。
