Mid-Autumn Lantern Making Workshop
Mid-Autumn Festival is the Halloween for us.
Hang on a second.
Halloween is indeed a traditional Gaelic festival celebrating the end of the fall harvest.
Same as Halloween, Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival.
We invite you to join us in this workshop to learn more about Mid-Autumn Festival.
You will get a chance to taste different types of mooncakes.
You will learn about the Cantonese tradition and make the traditional folding lanterns together.
Going by yourself, or as a group? It's just €20 either way. €20 also includes 2 x lanterns you can take home afterwards.
When you purchase your ticket, PLEASE indicate the lanterns (A or B) that you want to make.
ALL money we get goes to our organisation fund to help promote Cantonese language and culture in Ireland.
