Workshop on Migrant Political Participation 來愛新活：認識投票權利與制度
Do you know you can still vote even you are not yet a citizen in Ireland?
We are happy to have the Immigrant Council delivering a workshop on political participation for our Cantonese migrant community. The session involves learning the different types of elections in Ireland; who is eligible to vote; the function of the local government and local councillors; political parties in Ireland and the electoral system.
There will be another follow-up event after the workshop. You are welcome to join us in a coffee meetup for a free cup of coffee and refreshments. We will fill the registration form to vote together that day. Details of coffee meetup event will be published later. Stay tuned with us.
We thank the Immigrant Council for sending the speaker to us, and also the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth for funding the coffee event.
