About this event
Mahjong is a beloved game across East Asian regions, enjoyed by people of all ages. However, finding fellow players and Mahjong tiles in Ireland isn’t always easy. If you’ve been itching to show off your skills, here’s your chance!
To promote Cantonese culture and introduce the long-standing tradition of Mahjong to the local community, Cantonese in Ireland is proud to host the Mahjong Tournament on February 16th, 2025. This event is a great opportunity for Mahjong enthusiasts to connect with like-minded players and help establish Mahjong culture in Ireland.
This event is a fundraising initiative by Cantonese in Ireland. Your support is greatly appreciated!

🏆 Hong Kong Mahjong Rules: Classic gameplay, true to tradition! DOWNLOAD GAME RULES
🎉 Exciting Prizes: The winner will be crowned the first “Ireland Mahjong King,” receiving a €100 Asia Market gift voucher and a championship trophy. The first runner up will be receiving a €30 Asia Market gift voucher and a medal. The second runner up will be receiving a €20 Asia Market gift voucher and a medal.
