Hi, my name is Ian Hau, British born Chinese. Grew up in London and have been in Dublin just over a year now.

Hi! 我叫侯俊賢，係一個英國出生嘅華人。我係倫敦長大，而家喺都柏林住咗一年多。

Why do you volunteer with Cantonesein ireland ?

I found out about Cantonese in Ireland via an event last year that was advertised on eventbrite. After attending, I decided that I would like to be involved to meet people and build my network here. Since I'm new to the country / city of Dublin. And to maintain in touch with my cantonese roots since I don't have any family here.

點解你會喺我哋<<粵語。愛爾蘭>>呢個機構做義工嘅？

我係去年喺一個活動中透過Eventbrite發現咗愛爾蘭有關粵語嘅活動。參加完之後，我決定希望加入，認識新朋友，並喺呢度擴展自己嘅人脈。因為我係新嚟呢個國家／城市，都柏林，而我喺呢度冇家人，所以我想保持同自己嘅粵語根源聯繫。

What do you want to achieve volunteering with Cantonese in Ireland?
I hope to build my network, meet new people, be involved with events / volunteering activities. Also network for jobs and career opportunities. And participate in the group for personal development reasons.
