2025 Year in Review
Cantonese in Ireland marked another meaningful year of cultural promotion and community connection in 2025. Through 18 diverse events, we brought Cantonese language and culture into schools, libraries, festivals, and public spaces across Ireland, reaching approximately 50,000 people.
From school workshops and bilingual storytelling at Cork Library, to Dublin Lunar New Year celebrations, a mah-jong tournament, Cantonese writing workshops, dragon boat racing, and a nail care project in a nursing home, our activities connected people of all ages and backgrounds. Highlights also included Dublin Festival of History events, Bloomsday, the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Dún Laoghaire, Cantonese movie meetups, a trilingual nature walk, Dublin Maker, and of course, our 3 year anniversary celebration.
This year, we were also honoured to receive grants from DCEDIY and Dublin City Council, supporting our continued work in promoting Cantonese language and culture.

粵語愛爾蘭喺2025年繼續一步一腳印，透過唔同推廣粵文化同社區連結嘅活動，將粵語帶入學校、圖書館、節慶以及唔同嘅公共空間。我哋全年舉辦咗18項活動，接觸到大約50,000個唔同年齡同文化背景嘅人。
活動包括走入唔同學校嘅工作坊、喺高基圖書館舉辦嘅雙語故事時間、都柏林農曆新年慶祝活動、麻雀王大賽、漢字書法工作坊、扒龍舟比賽、護老院探訪(美甲)，仲有都柏林歷史節、布魯姆日、聖派翠克節巡遊、粵語電影聚會、三語郊野行山團、Dublin Maker、當然唔少得我哋嘅３周年慶祝活動！
今年我哋亦好榮幸獲得都柏林市政府以及DCEDIY嘅資助，支持我哋繼續推廣粵語同相關文化工作。
