Good Friday

Today is Good Friday, a day of religious and historical significance in Ireland. In the Christian tradition, Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, observed with church services and reflection.

The day also holds historical importance as it marks the anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, signed on April 10, 1998. This agreement helped end decades of conflict in Northern Ireland and laid the foundation for peace and cooperation.

As we observe Good Friday today, it's a moment to reflect on both its religious and historical meaning in Ireland.
