Famous composer Joseph Koo left last Tuesday at the age of 92. He was named as the Godfather of HK Cantopop, with many classic representative works, spanning the entire 70s to 80s, until he faded out of the industry in the 90s.

著名作曲家顧嘉煇上個星期二離開咗我哋，享年92歲。佢係香港樂壇教父，經典代表作品眾多，橫跨整個70至80年代，直至90年代淡出。

Joseph Koo cooperated closely with the famous lyricist James Wong and created countless timeless classics in his life, which laid the foundation for Hong Kong pop music. He has also cultivated many singers successively. His creations connected different generations of Hong Kongers.

顧嘉煇跟著名填詞人黃霑合作無間，喺佢一生人中創下無數不朽名曲，為香港流行音樂打下基礎，亦曾經先後栽培過唔少歌星, 深入民心，聯繫咗好幾代香港人。
