Dear Cantonese lovers,

各位親愛嘅粵語愛好者︰

May is called Bealtaine (bell-tin-er) in Irish, and it traditionally marks the beginning of summer and the time to drive cattle to higher grounds for summer grazing. No wonder we have such beautiful weather recently, which almost makes us forget the gloomy winter days! Let's go out more when the weather is nice, and enjoy the amazing nature scenery of Ireland. Remember we have an CII Anniversary Celebration at the end of May (see below): we look forward to welcoming as many as possible to make new friends and have fun!
喺愛爾蘭文入邊，五月叫做Bealtaine (bell-tin-er)，傳統上標誌住夏天嘅開始，同埋將牛羊趕去山上嘅牧場食草直到秋季。無怪乎近排經常陽光普照，微風和暖，我哋差啲唔忘記晒冬日嘅灰暗。趁天光靚，大家多啲出門行吓，享受愛爾蘭美麗嘅大自然啦！記得我哋粵語愛爾蘭五月底有週年慶，希望有多多人來一齊線下互動，認識新朋友！

 What an incredible day for the 2nd National Mahjong Tournament – Ireland! 

Huge congratulations to our Queen of Mahjong , Maggie! She took the win with an impressive score of 1360!

The atmosphere was lively, filled with constant laughter and applause—everyone was fully engaged regardless of winning or losing. You can see it in the video too: the energy was incredibly positive. Even those who ended up with minus scores still received plenty of applause… (not entirely sure if that was coming from the winners… ).

A special thank you to @asiamarketie for sponsoring a €100 voucher for the winner!

A fantastic day of strategy, fun, and community. We are already looking forward to the next one! And to the Gai Daan Zai minicakes!

今日舉行嘅「第二屆愛爾蘭麻將大賽」真係好玩到無朋友！

恭喜我哋嘅「雀后」Maggie，佢以1362分高分數高姿態勇奪冠軍！

現場氣氛熱烈，笑聲掌聲不斷，無論輸贏大家都好投入。大家睇片都睇到，我哋非常正能量，就算係打到負分嘅朋友，都一樣得到掌聲支持……（唔確定係咪嚟自啲贏家……）
