We’re excited to announce the launch of IrelandInfo.ie!
A brand-new platform providing Traditional Han characters translations of official government info from CitizensInformation.ie.
This volunteer-driven project helps immigrants in Ireland access reliable info on tax, healthcare, and essential services, all in their own language.

Cultural Exchange 文化交流
It was a pleasure for Cantonese in Ireland to be invited by Irish Uyghur Cultural Association to join the community talk on preserving Uyghur language, culture, and identity in the diaspora. As a community, we also strive to preserve our own Cantonese language and heritage, while learning to appreciate and respect the diverse languages, cultures, and identities that make our world so rich. Treasure every opportunity to learn and connect with one another.
粵語愛爾蘭好高興獲邀參加由愛爾蘭維吾爾文化協會主辦嘅社群分享會，一齊探索點樣喺離散社群中，保存維吾爾族語言、文化同身份。本組織亦致力傳承粵語粵文化，一直欣賞並尊重各地多元嘅語言、文化同身份。我哋珍惜每一次互相學習同交流嘅機會，期望一齊成長、互相啟發。
October Highlights 十月活動精華
Our October was full of culture, language, and connection!
Event 1: Brush Culture – An Introduction to Han Characters Calligraphy for Adults
Hosted at the Chester Beatty, participants explored the beauty of Han characters through brush and ink. Everyone enjoyed learning the art of calligraphy while appreciating its history and elegance.

Event 2: Autumn 2025 Trilingual Walk
Our community came together once again for a refreshing Trilingual Walk, where tutor led sharing and conversations in Cantonese, Irish, and English. It was a great opportunity to connect, practise languages, and enjoy Dublin’s beautiful autumn scenery! (Event funded by Dublin City Council)
呢個十月，我哋舉辦咗兩個活動宣揚粵語粵文化。
活動一：筆墨文化 — 漢字書法入門工作坊（成人）
喺 Chester Beatty，參加者透過毛筆同墨汁，探索漢字嘅美學。大家一齊體驗書法藝術，感受其中嘅歷史同優雅。
（活動由 兒童、殘疾及平等政府部門資助）
活動二：2025 年秋季三語行
我哋粵社群再次齊集，一齊參加咗一個輕鬆嘅 「秋季三語行活動」，導師用廣東話、愛爾蘭語同英文向參加者介紹愛爾蘭嘅野生生態。 活動唔單止可以學習語言，仲可以欣賞都柏林秋天美景，賞心樂事也！

Cork City Library Bilingual Storytelling 高基圖書館雙語故事時間
Saturday 4th October, at Cork City Library, children gathered for a special Cantonese session about mooncakes and the moon. We also made a silver moon using tinfoil.
十月四號星期六，喺高基市圖書館，一班細路仔參加咗我哋嘅粵英故事時間，聽一個關於月餅同月亮嘅故事，仲錫紙做咗個銀月亮。
