Cantonese in Ireland turns FOUR! |我哋「粵語愛爾蘭」四歲生日啦！
Time really flies! It feels like just a blink since we first started, and now four years have passed since the founding of Cantonese in Ireland!
This year, we are celebrating the incredible diversity of our community. While the Cantonese language is often associated with Hong Kong, our family includes people from Singapore, Malaysia, Macau, and far beyond. To celebrate this heritage, we are hosting a special "Lo Hei" (Prosperity Toss)—a vibrant tradition from Singapore and Malaysia that brings people together for good fortune.
Join us for an informal afternoon where our Chairperson will share highlights from the past year. It’s a chance for our committee, volunteers, and the public to connect, catch up, and celebrate our shared culture.

真係話咁快，光陰似箭，由我哋成立到而家已經過咗四年啦！
今年我哋想特別慶祝粵語文化嘅多樣性。雖然好多人都會聯想到香港，但其實我哋嘅社群入面仲有好多嚟自新加坡、馬來西亞、澳門同埋其他地方嘅朋友。為咗展現呢份多元文化，我哋當日會舉行一個非常有特色嘅 「撈起」 儀式！呢個係星馬一帶廣東人非常重視嘅傳統，象徵大家聚埋一齊「撈」到風生水起！
今次活動係一個輕鬆嘅聚會，我哋嘅主席亦會同大家回顧過去一年嘅工作成果。無論你係委員、義工，定係各位公眾朋友，我哋都好歡迎你嚟見個面、傾下偈，一齊慶祝我地嘅生日！
